(C) DOCTOR WHO - DAVID TENNANT and CATHERINE TATE
EPISODE 4 - THE SONTARAN STRATAGEM - Screengrabs below after broadcast

"...Glorious warfare..."

PLOTLINE - Concluded in POISON SKY

Martha Jones summons the Doctor back to modern-day Earth, but an old enemy lies in wait.

With the mysterious ATMOS devices spreading across the world, Donna discovers that even her own family is not safe from the alien threat - but is it too late to save them?

EPISODE REVIEW - PENDING

In the meantime, as I wipe away the tears from having seen Donna & Gramps hug, this was pure Pertwee 1972. Plotline, sentiment and direction. I'm not sure if that is a positive or negative statement (or welcomed by BBC WALES's re-imagineering of DOCTOR WHO?).

It was all very safe. Nothing exciting. Flat. But I'm 40+ not 4+ years old. There was one nice touch: the view inside the TARDIS as Donna walked toward the main doors with the Doctor outside. The camera just panned enough to give a special moment that could have come from AN UNEARTHLY CHILD (1963).

Could do better. Sorry.
