APRIL 2003 | DWM
Special - The Complete Eighth Doctor
Unbelievable
though it seems but DWM are releasing another 'The Complete...Doctor'
in July, hot on the heels of April's Troughton 'Complete.
Not the expected Fourth Doctor chronicle but a 'special' detailing the
single TV outing (and numerous BIG FINISH audioplays, books
etc) for the Eighth Doctor.
It is muted that it will contain a much awaited new interview
with McGann.

" In a marble mausoleum, deep in the cisterns beneath the Capitol, Gallifrey's
favourite author faces his ultimate destiny. Who is the woman who claims to be
his granddaughter?
Who is the sepulchral figure in robes of night? Which path should Hannibal's
army take to Rome?

APRIL 2003 | Fourth
DWM 'special edition' spotlights Troughton
Released
on April 10, DOCTOR WHO MAGAZINE's fourth 'special edition', THE COMPLETE
SECOND DOCTOR continues to provide a level of fresh information (both anecdotal
and visual) that makes David J Howe's Virgin imprint Handbooks looks like a tabloid
newspaper.
A hefty 84 pages, with an 'Afterword' by former companion, Anneke Wills, the
publication includes a crafted profile of Troughton, in addition of a plethora
of previously unpublished photographs (colour and b/w). £4.99.

APRIL 2003 | Toying
with DOCTOR WHO
DOCTOR
WHO is becoming 'high profile' across the Media as it nears the 40th anniversary,
even in the minority Press.
The April edition of MODEL & COLLECTORS MART (UK) has an eight-page
feature on those toys that have been and will become 'collectible' in the future.
Additionally, there is brief interview with Ingrid Pitt (which includes a provocative
story concerning Jon Pertwee).
The main article, WHO'S THE BIRTHDAY BOY (penned by Pitt), may seem initially
uninspiring but read carefully. It is written with a subtle harshness that makes
it seem it was purged from a heart of a 'true fan'. £2.60.
